CapitaLand Commercial has a one-third interest in the iconic and landmark Derry and Toms Building (NLA of 34,450 square metres as at 31 December 2008), a mixed-use development at Kensington High Street, Central London, an office building (NLA of 2,992 square metres as at 31 December 2008) at Derry Street and a residential building (NLA of 311 square metres as at 31 December 2008) at Kensington Square.
In mid-2008, Sony BMG opened its 100,000 square foot European headquarters office at Derry and Toms Building following the asset enhancement works at the building in 2007. We have also acquired the freehold interest of the building from Crown Estates in 2007.
